Valentine, a beautiful six month old girl, looks into her father's eyes and wonders 'Will you love me?'. This inner thought begins her journey of discovering love. Every five years, we catch a glimpse of Valentine as she seeks love, first with her father and then with other men. In these tender moments, her inner thoughts reveal how a father's abandonment and her parents' destructive behavior form the patterns that draw her to painful relationships. Valentine wonders if she will ever find true love. She longs for a loving relationship. Can a woman attracted to men who break her heart find the happiness she's longed for her entire life?
