It tells the story of an elderly woman suffering from Alzheimer’s being cared for, in an isolated cottage, by her daughter, Julia. Upset that her mother, Margit, fails to recognize her, Julia becomes increasingly concerned and exasperated by the old lady’s strange, subconscious meanderings, until she discovers an awful family secret that Margit has lived with since childhood.
